Diaspora Connect for Indian Community from Uttar Pradesh residing in Malta
Realizing the need for forging a symbiotic relationship between Uttar Pradesh and its diaspora, the Uttar Pradesh State Government has set up a full-fledged NRI department which has been playing a very vital role in strengthening linkages between U.P. diaspora and several other diaspora communities, international trade and investment forums, Chambers of Commerce spread across the globe and motivating them to bring in investments to the State and extend all possible assistance in the challenging times.
1. Diaspora Connect: NRI Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh engages with its diaspora for the growth and prosperity of the state. Regarding this initiative to create a forum for building effective and meaningful relations and to strengthen the engagement of the overseas Indian Community from Uttar Pradesh residing in Malta, Prominent Indians/ Migrants from Uttar Pradesh in Malta and other nodal contacts or prominent Diaspora Associations may register themselves at the portal given below :

2. Investment: UP NRI Department is looking to attract High Net-worth Individuals (HNIs) from Uttar Pradesh diaspora residing in Malta and looking to invest in Uttar Pradesh. The Investment Intent Form and related website links are given below :

3. Policy Consultation: Government of Uttar Pradesh is in process of drafting a dedicated policy for Uttar Pradesh diaspora – NRIs/ OCIs/ PIOs. As part of the stakeholder consultation, the state is keen on eliciting responses to the Survey Questionnaire.
